Welcome to the official website for the STUFH organization, run in coordination with the colleges and universities of America and their regional food banks in order to help feed the hungry.

Results for the 2010 food drive season are being compiled and will be released in the coming weeks.

Colorado State University's 2010 Cans Around the Oval drive:

Shannon O'Connor, Product Solicitation Coordinator of the St. Louis Area Foodbank, sends in a recap of this year's CKI convention in St. Louis, Missouri:

"On behalf of the St. Louis Area Foodbank, it was a true pleasure to attend and participate in the CKI Convention held at Washington University August 5, 2010. Between the Foodbank and STUFH, we were able to promote our organizations’ efforts, with emphasis on hosting Food Drives and Food Collections geared towards college students. Having students from all across the nation allowed us to broaden our ideas in terms of collecting food, as well as learn from their steps in preparing for food drives and helping enhance community awareness. It is mportant to reach out to your neighboring schools to form creative ideas and build relationships based on one common goal - fighting hunger."

STUFH gets college students and faculty members actively involved in finding a solution to the growing problem of hunger. STUFH helps us reach young people on a personal level, and sends a reminder to faculty, staff, and the community that the need to feed is a problem that can be solved.
